DarkNite's Drop List – Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories (PS1)

Who is DarkNite?

Nitemare, known as Card Majin (カード魔神 Kādo Majin, lit. “Card Demon”) in the Japanese version, is the main antagonist of Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories. He initially appears in his weaker form, DarkNite. In the Japanese versions, DarkNite is called Card Majin, while Nitemare is called Card Majin (true form). A majin is a malevolent deity that causes misfortune and disaster.

He is also mentioned in *Yu-Gi-Oh! The Duelists of the Roses* by his brother, Manawyddan fab Llyr.

Biography

Nitemare was sealed away in the Forbidden Ruins, only to be awakened when the Seven Millennium Artifacts were brought there.

When Heishin awakens DarkNite, he tries to give him orders, claiming that this is part of the pact between them. However, DarkNite states that he doesn’t remember making any pact with Heishin. When Heishin starts begging, DarkNite quickly grows tired of the conversation and turns Heishin into a card. Calling it the loudest and ugliest card he has ever created, DarkNite burns it, saying it doesn’t deserve a place in his Deck.

DarkNite then turns to the prince and Seto, saying they would make excellent additions to his Deck. Seto reminds the prince about the Millennium Item Cards. The prince then raises the cards, forcing DarkNite to retreat. Unable to hold him back completely, the prince is forced to duel DarkNite.

After losing once, DarkNite refuses to accept defeat and transforms into Nitemare, demanding another duel. The prince then defeats Nitemare, sending him back to where he came from.

Cards Dropped by DarkNite

The following cards can be earned by defeating DarkNite.

After the duel, the player receives an ability: POW (power) or TEC (technique) and a rating: S, A, B, C, or D. The chance of earning a card for a specific rating is indicated by the “%” (chance out of 100) and “2048th” (chance out of 2048) columns.
